I have found a love so true,
But for some reason,
I'm oh so blue.
He makes sure I'm safe,
With that look,
Upon his face.
He draws me near,
In his arms,
For never any pain I will feel.
The love of my life,
Has asked me to be his wife.
As A tear rollS down my face,
I tell him that no one,
Could ever take his place.
When I tell him yes,
A big relief,
Comes off his chest.
He wraps me in his arms,
For soon he will be gone.
He has to leave,
And I must stay,
I ask my God,
To please take the pain away.
As I start to runaway,
He grabs me to say,
Just remember I love you,
And I'm a phone call away.
Two years have passed,
Eternity though it seems,
God has been watching,
You just for me.
As I see him walk threw the doors,
My body had trembled to the floor,
He picked me up,
Just to say,
Baby, I'm here to stay
