A gift is something that we think of as tangible.
My life has been filled with those kinds of gifts.
It seems to be the most boring thing now.
Now that I have found someone with such a gentle kiss.
When people ask what have you given me, I often smile.
For I know that it is nothing that they would think is worthwhile,
But just because you might not know, these are the things that
I treasure from your love...
You have given me hope as I look towards a new day.
You have given me peace that calms me on my
most darkest days.
You have given me joy because I smile when I see your face.
You have given me a chance to enjoy your love just one more day.
Out of all the things that you have given me,
I simply could not do without one.
And that is your everlasting love for the Father and his Son.
I love you more than any words could express, and I intend to
someday let my heart show you the rest.
