The things that seemed so normal and secure have become a matter of perception since I fell in love with you
Though time still passes in the usual way, where there don’t seem enough hours in each day
The time that stands between now and when our love can be realized seems to me an eternity
The distance between us when perceived in miles sometimes seems just to huge for me to bear
But when I wake from dreaming of you, I can feel your body next to mine and wish to hold you there
When I think of all the things I used to desire it’s hard to even care
They pale compared to the desire I have to hold you in my arms, see the sparkle in your eyes and the love reflected there
