The very first day I met you,
I gazed into your eyes,
Your sweet and beautiful smile,
Seemed to speak no lies.
You sat there starring with your beautiful eyes,
Gazing into space.
I wanted to take you in my arms,
Off to a better place.
So many feelings filled my heart that night,
Lust, love, and pain.
All of these mixed emotional feelings,
Can drive a normal man insane.
So many things happened that night,
I cant even explain,
I went back home without a doubt,
Without a single complaint.
My heart was set, thats all there was to it,
I knew you had to be mine.
I couldnt let you slip away from me,
I had to see you one more time.
From out of the blue, you gave me a call,
We started talking again,
Then I did something I never thought I would do,
I let my heart unbend.
I got to know you, you got to know me,
I knew I was in love,
You were like an angel sent down to me,
From the heavens up above.
Its been one month now going on two,
And I still feel the same way,
Im glad God brought us together,
On that magical day.
Now I sit here thinking about you,
Thanking the heavens up above,
Knowing that all I have for you
Is unconditional love.
