A flood of emotions,
A wave of passion
Battering away at the rock of judgment
A slow but steady onslaught
A dale of greenery
A valley of flowers
Breathtaking when see from afar
But a sheer drop into a never ending abyss
A fire that starts with a spark
And spreads in a flash
Engulfing all in its path
Unceasing for eternity…
A cool shower of rain
That warms the cockles of the heart
Bringing in peace and contentment
With every drop that falls
The thunderbolt in the sky
With a roar that pounds the heart
A ne’er ending drum beat, pulsating
That throbs out of the blue blocking all reason
A lightning that strikes suddenly
A streak of energy across the heavens
Singeing away at mind and body
A gleam of light that blinds vision
A prayer in the heart
That calms fraught nerves
Raising the spirit to new heights
A climax taking the soul beyond space
A deep dark forest
Where all is hushed and silent
What can be heard are heartbeats
Thumping away in fear and excitement
A musical orchestra
Moving in perfect symphony
One note flowing into another
Playing to innovative tunes
A palm tree swaying the breeze
Swinging from side to side
Leaves rustling in unison
Tickled by the gentle winds
A mountain range
Enormous, and winding
Full of glaciers, valleys and crevasses
Each step to be taken with care
An avalanche of snow
That can overtake in an instant
Running away from it, a slide downhill
And embracing it, an inexorable pull to depths
A sudden waft of breeze
That brings with it a fragrance
Unseen messages from my darling
Putting me on the seventh heaven
An open clear sky on a sunny day
An overcast sky on a rainy day
A starry sky on a moonlit night
An orange glow in the sky during twilight
A rainbow in the sky on a misty day
All this is love… love… and love…
Changing hues each moment
Each day, each instant
Like a kaleidoscope,
When constantly turned
Its beauty burgeons
And with changing seasons,
Love transforms into something
Far more deep, far more enchanting
Than the touch of a hand, or the kiss on the lip
Goes to the heart, the soul the spirit
For love lives in the heart, and heart is full of love
And one without the other is not possible
And when both co-exist, that is love… love… and nothing else but love…
A bird soaring in the skies
Flying higher and higher
Love when static, loses its charm
When in love, all else is worthless
