Ode To Passion
by Maria Mascato
Oh the passion of your love
The burning of your kiss.
Now I know I never knew
Love could be like this.
Your searing touch upon my skin,
The desire in your eyes
Makes my heart pound in my chest
Tears of happiness I cry.
I trace your face with trembling hands
Knowing how this night will bring.
Our lips meet with a kiss so deep
To you I need to cling.
You pull my body close to you
And time comes to an end.
Nothing matters to us now
As our bodies blend.
In the quiet afterglow
Of uninhibited love so true
Just before we close our eyes
You whisper I love you.
