When you smile, it etches my heart. Your sparkling eyes wash over me warmly A gentle touch, my pulse to start. Lips that caress, lips that love me. If I ail, your tenderness heals. When I am weary, a heart to hold and be. A gentle soul, taking mine and seals. No ordinary love, no, not from thee. When I worry, I feel comfort from you. When I hurt, you hurt along side. A tiny tear sheds, as the morning dew. My heart bursting, opens so wide. Finally to realize what it's all about. For it is so simple a gift from above.
