Shooting Star

Have you ever seen a shooting star
Way up in the sky?
Have you wished on one really hard?
Or ever wondered why,
Some wishes dont come true,
Or some seem like lies.
Or is there someone special for you,
Who holds you when you cry?
Someone that makes you smile,
And never lets you frown.
And always makes your world spin
Perfectly round and round.
Well I know that someones out there,
You know that special person,
That finds you beautiful in every way,
And no matter what always seems to care
How you think, laugh, and love.
Who listens to what you say.
So next time when you look up above,
Way up in the sky,
Look for a shooting star,
And make a wish
Because well always wonder why.
