As I am lying in your arms,
I can feel time stop.
As I look at the clock,
I half expect it to be frozen.
As I listen to you breath,
I feel a peace within.
As you begin to slowly stir,
I snuggle just a little bit closer.
As you hold me just a little bit tighter,
I know that I am safe.
As you groggily whisper 'good morning',
I wish that I could awake like this every day.
As I kiss your neck in response,
I see your sleepy smile.
As we cuddle under the warm covers,
I know that I am in love.
