Let's take a walk along the beach
It's sunny and warm and pleasant outside
The waves are breaking just out of reach
As the shoreline recedes with the rising tide
We stroll hand in hand along the path
A pleasing outing enjoyed by a pair
While bikers and skaters pass by in rath
It's a happy time the two of us share
We watch the seagulls fly overhead
And glance at sailboats gliding on the sea
As the sun sets it turns orange red
It has been a great day, just you and me.
