So there I see him, and a sigh.
Remains the only, silent cry.
To betray the hidden hurts that I still feel.
Seem so far away, they border on surreal.
The thoughts that ever owned my head.
The hopes and dreams, all gone and dead.
And though I know if fate and time,
Would for some reason change his mind?
I would not try again his heart to win.
But though this was never meant to be.
The only wish that I wanted to see.
If he had said yes, then what might have been?
