Forever A Memory
by AnnMarie Clark
You came into my life so quick
You influenced me in so many ways
You were someone I always dreamed about
But you could only stay a few days
The few stolen moments we shared
Were enough to help me threw
The laughter and the joy you gave me
Was a high I never knew
We talked to each other openly
We became each others friend
The nights we spent together
Were nothing to pretend
It was a shame you had to leave
I was hoping it wasn't true
I've waited so long to find
Someone who is as special as you
You were everything a woman could want
You were sweet, gentle and kind
Now all I have left of you
Are the memories you left behind.
