Every night when I open the door,
I walk into lonliness just like before.
My smile fades as I remember that day
You kissed me goodbye with nothing to say.
What happened to the giggles that I had with you?
The butterflys in my stomach, away, they flew.
What happened to the feelings that would not let me sleep?
Visions of us that I would keep.
How did I escape out of your heart,
When I had occupied such a big part?
Now what do you feel when you look at me
Am I still the picture that youd like to see?
Why do I feel in my heart its the same?
Im tired of playing this endless game.
I love you just the same as four years past,
So why cant we remember what we cant grasp?
