I felt life would not go on as I watched
Crying and screaming I found no cover in life
I can’t hide my soul for it is exposed
Life soon will have no meaning
But the ways of the world are sucking me in
My heart so heavy with the emptiness within
Did it have to be you whom I loved so dear
We poured out hearts out to each other
I looked up to you until it was over
I looked into your eyes and fell into your soul
Then I sadly watched tears fill those very same eyes
The day we said "goodbye"
It may seem that I am happy
But what you will never understand
Is that I’ve been torn in two
You must realize, it hurt me as much as YOU.
