Twice Is Enough

I woke up one day with a feeling so strange
Some feeling I never gave a chance
I realized I fell so deep with a girl
That I used to called best friend once..
I open up everything with you
And tell you every feeling I had for you
But your minds are filled with doubts
Wondering if all my words are true
You said you used to love me before
But all I every do is ignore
Now you’ve got tired of hoping
Confused, if you could still open up that door
I try to prove my every word
Praying every night to dear Lord
That I would still have a chance to make up
To all the mistakes I already poured
But you said everything was too late
Sorry, for that must be our fate
And best friend is all that we can be
Though it hurts me so, I’m willing to wait
Wait and wish that time would heal
And you could forget every pain that you feel
So I move heaven and earth
Just to prove that my love is real
But everything I did seems useless
For you already have your decision
And within a month period
I got my second rejection
I love you so much that I don’t want to give up
But the second time is indeed more painful than the first
And I don’t think I can bear a third one
For my heart will surely, surely burst
