A Forbidden One

I have never expected that this feeling would come
For it was a forbidden one
I fell in love with you,
You fell in love with me.
And it was such a happy moment in my life.
But time was so selfish
That we were never given a chance to be together.
Promises were broken, tears fell down.
You made ourselves forget each other,
That it was only a passing love.
Days past, not seeing each other,
That it made me have so many sleepless nights.
I tried to change my atmosphere,
Finding new life, new love
But it still remains in my heart
Wondering if you ever still think of me.
I may have a new love,
Which can give love more than you ever did.
But I just don't know why it always remains,
That even I don't have you
You are still the one I've been longing for.
Time will tell what may happen,
If this love will be here forever,
Or it may disappear slowly,
But until that moment, I exist,
I always pray that you will be happy,
Co'z I have loved you so much,
That I have taken the risk to have you once.
