Between The Two of Us
by Michael Parker
We met online back in May You said you loved me and I loved you And everyday the feeling grew... Between the two of us.
And at times when you were scared And all so sad You said my love for you Made you all so glad And love was sometimes all we had... Between the two of us.
The month of June came And all of May went The love I was missing Was soon replaced by the time we spent And we made the most Of each day spent... Between the two of us.
Now theres not a day When you dont cross my mind And my love for you Only grows stronger with time You left this old world With so little time... Between the two of us.
And now someday soon Ill brave a cold graveyard rain As I place a rose upon your name Knowing this is the most thats ever came... Between the two of us.
And oh - how I miss you all so much Your pretty smile and your gentle touch And the pleasure of just knowing We had so much love... Between the two of us.
