Happy Birthday to Someone Special

You’ve been like a rock,
Standing steadfast and sure,
Not always having all the answers
But certainly finding the cure.
We’ve not always liked the advice
But we always valued your concern.
Teaching us right from wrong
Yet giving us space to learn.
You’ve shown us how to get the
Homeruns from life, base by base,
You helped us reach the top
And you’ve let us fall on our face.
Without you we would be lost,
You are the light showing us the way,
For all we are and all you’ve been
We wish you Happy Birthday.
We pray God will give us half the knowledge
And all the strength he gave you,
There’s a lot of people who think they have
The best Mama BUT WE KNOW WE DO!
