I dance circles around you,
Untouchable, I think...
But you see inside me.
Your brown eyes
Illuminate.
I freeze
In your bright vision,
Cant seem to move away
In time
To save myself.
You drop your heart on me,
And I cant stop
From feeling again,
Cant stop from feeling you.
I sense you from across the room,
Across the town,
Your essence permeating,
My thoughts there where you are.
You bring me flowers from the moon,
What am I supposed to do?
Romanticize the stone
Thats been my heart?
My heart an unknown
To you til now,
But known across the ages
Somehow...
My fears clinging to the sorrow
Of old hurts
And dreams gone dry
As you get to the marrow
Of this thing that lies
Between us.
And ahead, the hopes
That nearly died
Until you stoked the fires
Within us,
Blowing embers on the sparks
That flame within our hearts
To warm the hearth of our souls.
