Whenever you would call me, Id always be right there, But now that I need you, you dont seem to care. Im a stranger in your world, I dont know where to turn, You like to watch me waste my tears, and then to crash and burn. I cant love you anymore, I fell for you to fast, You dropped me when I needed you, you put me in the past. Im better off without you, Ill stand against the rain, A thousand angels dance around me, they protect me from the pain. I could have been your angel, you could have been my all, But I needed you to catch me, and instead you let me fall. Youll realize soon enough that Im a tiger in your world of sheep, You cant lead me anymore, I wasnt meant to keep. You let me crash and burn when I needed you the most, You never gave your time, but I always played your ghost. A panther in the night, a leopard in the rain, I play the part of both, but you only play your game. Im letting go of you, Im moving on with life, The lies are paced behind, the edge is off the knife.
