As I look back through the years
Remembering and shedding a few tears
Wanting so much
To fill the emptiness of being alone
My heart was sealed
Never again to reveal
The love I stored inside
Only existing, not alive
Then I was blessed once again
With the love of a wonderful man
Who fulfills my every need
Who now lives inside of me
My heart is full
And so alive
My love for him
Will never die
The feeling of emptiness
Now is gone
And the eternal light
Of love is on.
