The Search
by Larry Painter
I’ve looked around, For many years. Looking for that someone, That can quiet my fears. I’ve been with others, Who have left me in doubt. Left me so frustrated, I wanted to shout. I’ve given of myself, But I have no regret. Some I want to remember, While others I want to forget. Once again I have found someone new. Is this the one, The one I give my love too? I love being with her, Both day and night. And I have this feeling That everything will be alright. The comfort I feel, Is beyond compare. The Love I feel, Is unique and rare. I feel my Love grow With each passing day. Hoping more and more, That we can find the way.
