If I could live a million years, say, give or take a few,
I’d never find another soul who could compare with you.
When I die, if they look into my heart, I know they’ll see
You always kept me company. You were a part of me.
And if they continued digging, I know they will find,
I also kept a piece of you locked up within my mind.
I’ve had lots of time to contemplate on my life and to reflect.
You weren’t with me in this lifetime, perhaps you will be in the next.
