I've seen the hurt of promises broken,
I've heard the lies better left unspoken.
I've seen dreams brought down,
I've heard a broken heart hit the ground.
I've lived fairytales that didn't come true,
I've heard thunder in a sky of blue.
I've seen rainbows with no end,
I've felt the distance time couldn't mend.
I've seen friendships torn apart,
I've heard the breaking of my heart.
