The Devil Inside You

A thousand thoughts of you
For every tear that's fallen down
A thousand deaths I've suffered
Now that I'm insanity bound

One last kiss
Warm breath still lingers
Here...
Hands around my neck
It's worse then what I've feared!

Death would be a welcome option -
If I knew I would escape you.
Once again I've fallen
And there's nothing I can do

I've tried to run away
But keep falling to my knees
Just another subserviant girl
At your whim to please

I'm black and blue with bruises
No one will ever see
Trying hard to measure up
To the victim you need me to be

Failure is a word
I've known all too well
When loving you is as easy
As finding a comfortable spot in hell
