Lost Love

I don’t know how to feel
I don’t know why it hurts
Our love has come and gone
Yet my heart still burns
The passion in his eyes
The intensity of his touch
The everlasting yearning,
Of my heart aching so much
It’s in the way he loved me
The way he made me feel
The way I truly know
That what we had was real
No matter that I’ve moved on
My heart is still with him
If only this could go away
I would be strong again
I hate that I miss us
An I hate missing him too
If only I could go back
So many things I’d do
I don’t know why I feel this way
Or how long it will go on
I need the words to tell him
To end my tears rage on
Maybe someday he’ll realize
That he also feels the same
And then when he comes back to me
He shall erase the pain
