Your radiant smile could illuminate the sky,
On a darkened night.
And the tender tone in your voice,
could set my heart aglow,
I yearned for your gentle breath,
Against my ear,
And the soft touch of your lips against mine.
Lips that were as soft as rose pedals.
When I peered deep into your seamless eyes,
I could feel the intense passion,
And I could see the flames of desire.
The nights that we cuddled underneath,
The starry heavens,
And observed its enchanting beauty.
I gave you my soul and everything that I know.
How could you leave me?
Tear my fragile heart in two.
My loud cries of sheer anguish and pain,
Pierce the black stillness.
And on my pillow is wept many bitter tears.
Come back to me,
and soothe my tortured soul,
Fill the void that encompasses my being.
Rekindle the passion that once burned,
Like a raging wildfire.
Help me to regain,
The twinkle and glitter in my eyes.
Inside I am dead.
There is no peace for me here.
So now I lay my grave,
In the dark and serene dust of the earth.
Atleast here my soul will be at peace.
