Once I believed in love And though my cold heart, That I would someday find One to melt away the pain. Years came and flew by Emptyiness seemed eternally, My soul a void for my dreams Bruised beyond all recognition. A light found its way into the dark and despair, its brilliance to much to bear I turned my eyes away and hid. Lost I felt the way again Scorched wounds began to heal, My blind eyes began to see The light I knew before me. Pitchblack turned to day With each breath I crave, Neveragain will I be alone With my neverending flame.
