Can you see as you walk away
That youll come back to me one day?
Can you see though you chose to part
That I will keep you safe here in my heart?
Can you see what we both have done
Our jobs, the fights, nights with no fun?
Can you see what we have to do
To bring alive our love so true?
I see you walk and not turn back
But faith in love we do not lack.
I have you here while were apart
Youve been in my heart from the very start.
I can see where we went wrong
A different day but the same sad song.
I know that love will bring you back.
Because its love we do not lack.
Here you are standing at our door
And only seconds pass before
Im in your arms so safe so sound
See what was lost we both have found.
