One Last Kiss
by Nicola Steel
In the moonlight, you take my hand We dance all night and you kiss me When you hold me tight I understand How happy our life together will be
Here in my heart I hold every second And every single step I take with you For your gentle touch my heart beckons Every kiss I treasure because it is true
I hold out my hand for you to hold But your fingers are not there waiting Only the touch of the air so cold Its youre touch my minds creating
The reality breaks my heart in shame Because you dont even know Im here I just wait to hear you speak my name With out shedding another lonely tear
Its you that I dream of every night If only you knew how much I cared Would you notice if I stood in sight And for you my love was declared
Theres a reason for this I cannot do It is her who has your heart it seems I wish everyday if only you knew Maybe then I would be in your dreams
As I sleep you love me and hold me You promise to never let go of this You are mine forever like it should be As I awake we share one last kiss
