Meeting you was only suppose to be
for an evening now and then
But in you walked and my new life began
Through the months we have became
more than friends
Before long we were together daily
I hope this never ends
For you have brought to me a new
lease on life
For years I never known I could be
more than a wife
Changes came so easily
You showed me respect and care
We give so freely and leave ourselves
in sudden despair
Where do we go from here,
We both are scared to say
For you I will treasure each new feeling
and each new day
Waiting and watching to see where we go
For the feelings we have we both know
Could we be a future pair?

We have taught each other many new joys
But remember our hearts aren’t the toys
For you I will promise to remain open minded
and play this game.
