The developer, Technology,
Tranformed our nieghborhood
Bringing redevelopment
In every way they could.
The office, malls, the library
Are not what they once meant.
Its taken getting used to,
This tech environment.
We oten frequent Windows Drive,
A metabolic street
The offices at MS Word
Print documents complete.
The kids still use the library,
Now renamed Internet.
But recently I came upon
The best location yet.
They built a mall called AOL.
IT holds an infinite
A mount of shops, and services,
And ones a real hit.
The Chate Store, it looked interesting,
A curious place to be.
But there I met a customer
Who now is dear to me.
Discussions of our interests
And personalities
Began our tryst in cyberspace
While holding mysteries.
Among these things, one night we shared
Our fantasies complete.
Although in cyber it was done
We both had felt the heat.
Now every day I think of her,
And wonder what and where
She does and thinks and laughs about
And how she wears her hair.
Weve come to speak of families
And keeping them intact.
And tragedies that may result
From nurturing this pact.
I must return now to the mall.
I move without a shove.
For that is where I go to meet
My pretty cyber love.
And when again we surely meet
Emotions share anew,
I cant resist the urge to say
My darling I love you.
