You Alone
by Amanda Wall
As I was surfing on the net
A handsome man by chance I met.
He was a dreamer with a heart so pure
I new in an instant this was love for sure.
His spirit passed through space and time
Over oceans to meet with mine.
Though I hurt him three times I am sorry to say
He kept on loving me day after day.
A wisdom that I have only dreamt to obtain
A softness that attracts me again and again.
For this kind of love there is only one cure
To say that I love you, I love you more.
To learn what love was from so great a man
Was a wonderful gift I did not plan.
What a blessing it is for my heart to find a home
That home I found in you alone.
