Sitting here staring out the window
Looking into the sky
Wishing my angel would give me another try
Yes I know I screwed up and hurt him
But that was not my intention
You were so good to me
Even though you never met me
You cared for me unlike any other
You made me believe in me
You made me feel loved
Something Ive never known
It seemed like I was your angel
Youve done more for me in this short time
Than my parents ever did for me in all my 23 years
You made it seem like everything would be alright
Until I came along and screwed it all up
You were my knight in shining armor
I was your damsel in distress
You made me feel like your angel
Just by your words, your soft spoken words
Yes, I know weve never met
And you said you cared first
I didnt want to believe you
Because I thought you were like all the rest
You proved me wrong
Your feelings were so strong
I just wish you would give me one more try
And I promise I wont make you cry.
