No one ever told me love would be so hard
Trusting in the one you love only, to be left scarred
Looking into the eyes of the person you thought was true
Only to find out those pure eyes were lying to you
For whatever reason he was unfaithful to me
The way I once saw him will never ever be
I still love him, forgiving him for his mistake
I pray he will be true, for it’s my heart that's at stake
