They started out as
Friends.
Neither looking for
Much, just enjoying
The comfort of knowing
The other was out there.
There was this
Connection.
Neither knowing just how
Strong.
They sought the next step
In the friendship,
“Let’s meet in person.”
He came to her door
The instant it was opened
There was this draw
This reaction, no one
Guessed it would be like that.
He asks himself
“Does she feel it”
She wonders
“Does he know”
From that point on
It was clear to the two
They had found their
Soul mate,
That dream come true
