Last night I went on a magic carpet ride
I held on tight
And opened my eyes
For all the visions to see
But I wasn't alone
Because you were there with me

Last night I went to the moon
I could float in the air
And drift out to the sky
And when we landed
I opened my eyes to see
The breath-taking view
Of the planet Earth
But I wasn't alone
Because you were there with me.

Last night I went to the ocean
I could feel the warm sand going
through my toes
I could smell the salt
Of the ocean
And I could see the
Giant waves come crashing
Into the shore
I went for a swim
And swam for many miles
But I wasn't alone
Because you were there with me

Last night I had a dream
That I woke up
And you were no longer
Here with me
It's as if my dreams
Are over now
Because it wasn't a dream at all
You were there
And now you're gone
I'm fully awake
And I can see
That you really aren't
Here with me.
