To be in your presence
Means to me so much,
The sound of your heartbeat
The feel of your touch,
To share in your laughter
With the glow of your eyes,
As the evening drew closer
And the day said goodbye,
We had laid quiet
With you fast asleep,
I was kissing your lips
Not making a peep,
The sound of you breathing
Still rings thru my heart,
As time stood still
That night in the dark
