Our love is what kept us strong
Your love for me was bullet proof
Mine needed a little help

You called me you angel sent from up above
I had my doubts on your intent
You proved me wrong
You wanted me for me

But by the time I figured it out
You thought you knew what I was all about
You told me to go
Never to talk to you

Now its been a few months
I see you and I get the nerve to step
I say a small hello and wait for your response
You say its been a long time and we can try to be friends

It won’t be like before
You can never care for me like you did
I know I hurt you and I know I could never have you back truly
But as long as you’re my friend is all I want
