Consider The Dead
by Michael Moore
Consider the dead, Who remember not, Their own mortal souls, Which time has forgot, The dead cannot know, How much that you care, Alone in the dark, All senses stripped bare, They cannot feel love, Or hear your voice call, The dead cannot know, You love them at all, The dead cannot laugh, Or stand by your side, Any hope of reunion, Forever denied, So, celebrate life, As your time rushes by, There will be time for the dead, On the day that you die.
